Pain Management After Mohs Surgery

Published on April 28, 2017

At Boca Mohs Surgery, our goal is to provide our patients with compassionate and comforting care, along with treatments that restore their quality of life. This includes ensuring your recovery process is as comfortable as possible.

Anesthesia will be used to reduce any discomfort experienced during Mohs surgery. Once the anesthesia begins to wear off, you may begin to experience some discomfort in the affected area. Fortunately, most patients experience little to no pain following Mohs surgery. Any pain that that is experienced can be managed with Tylenol.

Contact Boca Mohs Surgery to schedule a consultation with skin cancer surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Marcus. Dr. Marcus will thoroughly explain the entire process to ensure you are prepared for your surgery and recovery.
